Hope House Chesterfield

About Us

The vision for Hope House emerged in 2017 when St Thomas’ Church in Brampton realised there was a gap in homeless provision in Chesterfield. However we believed that a the answer to homelessness isn’t just a bed for the night but a home -a place where someone truly belongs.

With a lot of generous donations and support from St Thomas’, other churches, individuals, local businesses and organisations we were able to obtain a building and renovate it to the standard it is at today. In 2011 we took in our first residents.

The accommodation consists of twelve individual bedrooms, a communal lounge, dining room and kitchen.

A Board of Trustees, who are all volunteers, has the overview of the operation of Hope House.

The House is run and our residents are supported 24/7 by our faithful and hardworking Staff.

Hope House is a registered charity (number 1183254)
