However we believed that a the answer to homelessness isn&#8217;t just a bed for the night but a home -a place where someone truly belongs.<\/strong><br><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hopehousechesterfield.co.uk\/index.php\/the-hope-house-family\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"136\">Read more about the Hope House Family<\/a><\/strong>.<br><strong>Follow us on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/hopehousechesterfield\">Facebook<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With a lot of generous donations and support from St Thomas&#8217;, other churches, individuals, local businesses and organisations we were able to obtain a building and renovate it to the standard it is at today. In 2011 we took in our first residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The accommodation consists of twelve individual bedrooms, a communal lounge, dining room and kitchen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A <a href=\"https:\/\/hopehousechesterfield.co.uk\/index.php\/whos-who\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"67\"><strong>Board of Trustees<\/strong><\/a>, who are all volunteers, has the overview of the operation of Hope House.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The House is run and our residents are supported 24\/7 by our faithful and hardworking <a href=\"https:\/\/hopehousechesterfield.co.uk\/index.php\/our-staff\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"101\"><strong>Staff<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> Hope House is a registered charity (number 1183254)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The vision for Hope House emerged in 2017 when St Thomas&#8217; Church in Brampton realised there was a gap in homeless provision in Chesterfield.
